KeymasterWhat do you hope for most for 2021?
A wish without action is weak. But desire plus action can change things!
So, are you making any changes (resolutions, or new goals, or changing habits, etc.) to help you realize what you hope for this year?-

ParticipantMy goal for this year is to practice “switching my thoughts.” I’m developing a list of tools to use when a negative or anxious thought enters my mind, so that I can switch from something unhealthy to a thought that honors God. The first tool is gratitude. When I’m feeling overwhelmed with worry and the Holy Spirit lets me know my mind is starting to go down the wrong path, I’m going to switch my thoughts to gratitude. I have a list of other things I can switch to also, like Scripture or prayer.

KeymasterRebecca, proactively taking charge of your thoughts will certainly result in good fruit!

I hope/ have faith in Gods grace being sufficient in that despite what we might see and hear happening in this world we will not fear. But instead put/keep our eyes on the prize. And keep in our minds and hearts that we are pilgrims in this world that is so quickly passing away.
But rejoice, all who take refuge in You, Sing for joy forever! And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may rejoice in You. For You bless the righteous person, Lord , You surround him with favor as with a shield.

ParticipantI have led a life where Christ has not been at the center of everything that I do. I have learned that simply following my feelings has and can lead to disaster. In fact, blindly following my heart has been a really bad idea! I will intentionally fill my heart with His Word in 2021.
